Boxes are selling quite well, sold maybe 20-30 of them now :)

They are currently $499 and the specs just keep getting better :)

I haven't been around the forum for many months now, but glad to see you're still selling these boxes.

Mine is sitting in the loungeroom serving survivor all stars to the tv set 3 days before it's broadcast

It's also delivering my MP3'd cd's into the stereo and occasionally testing new linux distro's.
(my favorite at the moment is MoviX).

The 2nd box i bought was a present for my dad, and he's still running it without an upgrade from the original hardware (except the modem i installed).

Only had 1 problem with it when he tried to install Win2K after the Blaster attack (sound wouldn't work). A few driver files and a kick in the head fixed it :D

Great to hear :)

Unfortunately I don't work at Cam1 anymore, so I don't know if the Linuxathome.net Box will continue for much longer.

I am still happy to do the installs, but it might be a couple $$ more now.

Will update the site soon to reflect this.

No, a friend of mine works at APC and referred me for the Debian DVD.

I am now working as an IT Manager for a new and rapidly growing retail company, and its a nice change.

3 Machines at home, Windows XP on 2 of them (ones mine and ones the gfs), Win2k on the other (Backup box, soon to be another Linuxbox if I ever get around to it).

My Linux box is located at my folks place still as the cable router, that way its still active and I still have to administrate it remotely, thus makes things more challenging.

Unfortunately at my new job everything is Win2k3 and WinXP. But I still have a few Linux box's lying around, the latest one I am building will probably go into the car as a DVD/MP3 player.
