I was just looking through my access log and besides the tonne of code red virus attempts doing the rounds on the Telstra network again grrr I found something else which doesn't mean a great deal to me and hoping someone can shed a little bit more light on the subject.

207.44.144.xx - - [06/Jun/2003:15:02:47 +0930] "CONNECT 1.2.3.4:6667 HTTP/1.0" 200 5514

6667 is commonly used by IRC, right? I had a quick search in Google but nothing relating to this sort of thing came up. I can't remember the last time I went on IRC, more to the point I have never used IRC on my linux box since its solely a web/file server.

Thanks
Cheers
Darren
