I have read the very detailed help on getting connected with Bigpond with RedHat.
However, I have SuSe.
I was unaware of the Telstra Heatbeat problem which explains why I was able to connect once. Then got booted off moments later. I have tried everything and looked everywhere for some help or support.
Is there any such help for SuSe Linux and Telstra Broadband?
Surely I'm not Robinson Crusoe?

Have you looked at the other thread in this section. Look at the howto. It says RH as you seen everywhere else but the basics are pretty much the same, doesn't matter which distro. you use.

Take a look at it, the only thing that I can see is the firewall script (the bpalogin stuff will be the same). If you can incorporate it (the relevant lines) into your firewall then things should work.

If you still have a problem, reply. :)
