This is not a problem more an annoyance. I would like to shift the drive that holds the squid cache to the secondary ide cable. However when i do that the kernel hangs when attempting to read the partition listing for hdc.
Drive is a WDC-21200 (i know this aint the problem coz it happened with other drives)
Chipset is Intel 82437 (Triton-I, 430fx)
Current setup:
hda-linux
hdb-cache
hdd-cdrom
Desired setup:
hda-linux
hdc-cache
hdd cdrom
I've checked on google but can't seem to dredge up anything terribly helpful...Any ideas??
