Hi,
I am a Linux newbie. I have a Dell Dimension 8300 P4 3.2Ghz with HT, Radeon 9800 128MB video, Seagate Barracuda 120GB SATA, Maxtor ATA IDE 250GB, Iomega 250MB Zip, Sony DVD+- R/RW DRU510A Drive, NEC Floppy Disk Drive, Soundblaster Audigy 2 and Extigy sound cards, Soundmax onboard Sound, and am having troubles installing all types of Linux, I get stuck on IRQ 15 (which is in Windows listed as my Secondary IDE Channel. Has anyone got any idea why this would be happening? Is this fixable or a lost cause? Should I just stick with Windows and forget the wonderful world of Linux?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
